Throughout the course of this 180-year history, photography has been used for a wide range of purposes, including artistic expression, scientific research, exploration, documentation, the telling of stories, and the preservation of histories, as well as communication and critical thought.
By participating in this course, you’ll become a part of a global learning community and get invites from our main teacher, Sarah Meister, to live and virtual events.
What you will discover
- Recognize how artists work and the decisions they make, including experiments and responses to technological advancement.
- Find out how the creation, dissemination, and use of photographic images are influenced by context.
